Professor Tim LEYDECKER was selected for 100 talent university program in 2021 and officially became a full-time professor in the IMD group at the Institute of Fundamental and Frontier Sciences (UESTC) in December of the same year. He used his university, city, province and national funding to established an international team to carry out research on optoelectronic organic devices. In particular, his interest focuses on field-effect transistors used in photodetectors, optical memories and inverter circuits. Using blends of organic semiconductors and nanomaterials, his work aims to develop multifunctional systems and gain better systems of interactions between materials in hybrid devices.
