Dr. Kebin Lin is a research professor at the IFFS, UESTC. His research interest mainly focuses on new generation of luminescent materials and optoelectronic devices, especially in perovskite-based light-emitting diodes, scintillators, solar cells, and photodetectors. He has proposed a new film preparation strategy called "composition spatial distribution management", and took the lead in the world to break the external quantum efficiency of perovskite LEDs to more than 20%. So far, he has published more than 30 academic papers in internationally renowned journals such as Nature, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, receiving a total citation of over 4,300 times. His relevant research work has been selected as "Top-Ten Progress in Chinese Optics", "China's 100 Most Influential International Academic Papers" in 2018. His doctoral dissertation won the "Bronze Award" of the 2021 Jingbo Science and Technology Award. He has presided over a lot of projects including the National Key Research and Development Program (Young scientists) and the National Natural Science Foundation.
