Dr. Peng Yu is an associate research professor at the Institute of Fundamental and Frontier Sciences, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. His research interest mainly focuses on micro-nano photonics, plasmonics, optofluidic chips, principles and applications of micro-nano photothermal effect, photothermal fluidics, and quantum light sources. He successively presided over the NSFC youth project, post-doctorate, Sichuan Science and Technology Department and post-doctoral special assistance projects of Sichuan Province, participated in major projects such as "973" and key research and development projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology; published more than 60 SCI papers in high-impact international journals, with a total of nearly 2,400 citations; 4 papers selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers, 1 first-authored paper selected as ESI Hot Papers; He authorized or applied for more than 50 invention patents. He has been invited as a reporter at international conferences 3 times, He organized the international conference VC-NST and acted as co-chair of three international conferences; He compiled three books; He served as guest editor of SCI journal Nanoscale Research Letters; He won the 2018 Chinese Optical Society Excellent Award Doctoral dissertation nomination award China Invention Association Gold Award for Invention and Innovation (1%).
